Ukrainian Sea Baby drone hits Russian Samum missile ship
On Thursday, September 14, a Ukrainian experimental drone Sea Baby attacked a Russian Samum missile ship near Sevastopol
Ukrainian media outlets Censor.NET, Channel 24, and RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to their own sources in the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
According to the sources, the SBU Sea Baby experimental drone attacked the Russian Samum missile ship near Sevastopol Bay. It hit the rear right side of the Russian vessel, causing significant damage, and the ship lost its movement.
Now the Russian occupiers have towed the Samum away for repairs. At the time, the Russian vessel was tilted and also had a roll to starboard.
The Sea Baby experimental marine drone operates even in a storm and is difficult to detect behind high waves. In particular, during the operation, the waves were 1.5-2 meters high.
