Ukrainian military may return from exercises in Germany with tanks - Ambassador Feldhusen

She stated this during a national telethon on February 14.

"Your soldiers have already arrived in Germany for training. They will finish it and, I think, return to Ukraine with the tanks. This is good," Feldhusen said.

In addition, she also emphasized that Germany will do everything to ensure that not only Leopard 2 but also Leopard 1 tanks arrive in Ukraine.

• On January 25, Germany approved the supply of 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, and also allowed re-export by other countries.

• On February 11, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, commenting on the results of the EU summit, expressed hope that 80 Leopard 2 tanks would be ready for delivery to Ukraine by the end of March.

• On February 13, it became known that the Bundeswehr had begun training Ukrainian soldiers on the Leopard 2 main battle tank.
