Ukrainian forces successfully advance several kilometers in Vuhledar direction

"Our units in the Vuhledar direction have made progress by advancing a few kilometers from the city. The offensive operation is still ongoing, so I won't mention specific places. Moving westward, near Nova Novosilka, Ukrainian units successfully defended against the enemy's attacks. The occupiers attempted counterattacks but failed. The defense forces are continuing their movement southward, and there is ongoing fighting near Makarivka,” he said. 

• Since the full-scale invasion began, Russia has suffered significant losses in Ukraine, with approximately 219,820 troops, 3,984 tanks, and 7,729 armored personnel vehicles being lost.

• On June 18, analysts from the Institute for the Study of War identified the sections and directions of the front where the Defense Forces are conducting counteroffensive actions.
