Ukrainian forces make great progress from tactical point of view - press officer
The spokesman for the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, Oleksandr Borodin, noted that the weather conditions will slightly change the course of hostilities on the front line
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The weather conditions will change the course of hostilities a bit, especially between the period of rains and the onset of cold weather, when everything stabilizes. Of course, the weather will complicate the situation. But not always, from a military point of view, tactical and operational situations, territories are more important. Right now, the Russian troops are storming, but they are being exhausted very badly," Borodin emphasized.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are successfully destroying Russia's forces and equipment.
"The amount of forces and equipment, artillery, missile systems, Russian electronic warfare, aviation, in some positions, was destroyed by the Defense Forces during this time more than in the first part of the war. There is an important element - the Armed Forces are making progress. They are more military than what the media would like to show," Borodin said.
- Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Oleksandr Voitko noted that positional fighting continues in the Vuhledar direction.
- Over 100 combat clashes took place in the frontline over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers repelled over 20 Russian attacks in the Kupyansk direction and killed another 790 invaders.
- On October 20, Russian troops regrouped and resumed their offensive near Avdiivka, Donetsk region. The invading forces have made little progress.
