Ukrainian forces create gap in Russian defense that stretches from Bakhmut to Horlivka - military commander
Major Rodion Kudriashov, deputy commander of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, noted that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to successfully fulfill the tasks of sustainable defense in the Bakhmut sector
He said this on Espreso TV.
"Bakhmut and its surroundings are a rather specific destination. This direction is different from the others. The situation in the Bakhmut sector is dynamic and the intensity of hostilities is high. It's a separate universe, the enemy always uses a large number of infantry and artillery," emphasized Kudriashov.
According to the deputy commander of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, the Russian troops are not giving up trying to regain lost ground.
"After the recent successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, after the liberation of Andriivka and Klishchiivka, the enemy is still trying to regain its positions. This is because the Ukrainian Armed Forces have organized a gap in the defense line that stretches from Bakhmut to Horlivka. The enemy is trying to put pressure, but is not successful. The defense forces continue to successfully fulfill the task of sustainable defense in the Bakhmut direction," Kudriashov emphasized.
