He said this in an interview with CNN

According to him, destroying the enemy's logistics lines to stop the ability to replenish ammunition, fuel, etc. will help save Ukrainian lives, so the Armed Forces will use similar tactics against the occupiers.

"All these targets are official targets because it will reduce their capacity to fight against us (and) will help to save the lives of Ukrainians," Reznikov said.

Also, when asked whether Ukraine's goal is to disable the bridge completely, Reznikov said that this is a normal tactic.

"It’s normal tactics to ruin the logistic lines of your enemy to stop the options to get more ammunition, to get more fuel, to get more food, etcetera. That’s why we will use these tactics against them," he said.

In addition, Reznikov also accused Russia of acting as a "terrorist state."

Before that, the minister admitted that the counteroffensive was behind schedule, but assured that he was "not worried" because it was going according to plan. At the same time, he called it a misconception that "every counteroffensive should be quick."

  • Explosions on the Crimean Bridge were reported early in the morning on July 17, after which the invading authorities declared an "emergency" and accused the Ukrainian military of the attack. Damage to the roadway was found on the spans, and 2 deaths were reported.

  • Ukraine's Security Service said that all details about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge will be disclosed after Ukraine wins the war against Russia.

  • Due to the night's incident, Vladimir Putin convened an emergency meeting, where he promised a "Russian response" to the explosion on the Crimean bridge.

  • Instead, Maxar Technologies published satellite images of the Crimean Bridge after the nighttime explosion on July 17.

  • Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba told the UN that Russia was using the Crimean bridge to continue the war in Ukraine, and that it was built illegally.

  • Later, the Russian government said that the restoration of the Crimean Bridge would take 2 months and cost RUB 1.3 billion.

  • On July 18, the Russian Defense Ministry again accused Ukraine of attacking the temporarily occupied Crimea with drones.

  • On the morning of July 24, residents of temporarily occupied Crimea heard powerful explosions. Sergei Aksyonov, head of the annexed peninsula's occupation authorities, said that Ukrainian drones allegedly hit an ammunition depot in the Dzhankoy district

  • According to the Russian Defense Ministry, an "attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack" on targets on the Crimean peninsula was allegedly stopped overnight. They said that 17 drones were launched from the territory of Ukraine. According to them, 14 Ukrainian UAVs were suppressed by electronic warfare, 11 of which crashed in the Black Sea, and 3 more crashed on the peninsula. In addition, three UAVs were allegedly destroyed by air defense. The Russian Defense Ministry emphasizes that there were no casualties as a result of the "terrorist attack."

  • Also on July 24, a representative of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, commented on the explosions in the Russian capital and the temporarily occupied Crimea and noted that there would be more such events in the future.
