Ukraine's Ambassador to Germany Oleksii Makeiev has announced that Kyiv will soon receive a large batch of Leopard 1A5 heavy battle tanks
He wrote about this on Twitter.
“110 1A5 Leopards. Coming soon,” the diplomat tweeted, attaching a selfie in front of one of the tanks and a video from the repair shop.
In February, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany agreed to provide Ukraine with about 100 modernized Leopard 1 tanks. Obviously, these are the tanks Makeiev wrote about.
Countries also provide training of tank crews and the delivery of spare parts and ammunition.

Training on American Abrams tanks is to start next week.
