Spain is to send twenty M113 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine

It was reported by Europa Press with reference to Margarita Robles, head of the Spanish Ministry of Defense. She stated this during her visit to Latvia last week.

According to Militarnyi, the M113 APC is the main tracked armored personnel carrier in service with the mechanized troops of the US Army and other armies around the world.

Same APCs were also sent to Ukraine by the USA, Portugal, Lithuania and Australia.

• The possibility of Spain sending M113 armored personnel carriers was discussed for the first time in the summer of 2022.

• Spain intends to send about four to six Leopard 2A4 battle tanks to Ukraine.
