Situation is extremely dynamic: DeepState's take on frontline developments

Roman Pohorily, co-founder of DeepState, provided insights into ongoing changes along the frontline. According to him, the southern region is experiencing continuous shifts in the battle line, with the most significant activity observed in near Robotyne

Pohorily shared these observations with Espreso.

"The most intense battles currently occur in the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions. There are three key areas of focus: Kupyansk and Svatove directions, as well as the Kreminna district. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attempted an attack from Masyutivka, and Russian forces are consistently applying pressure there. In the Svatove region, the Novoyehorivka area sees active combat, but the enemy is struggling in that sector, leading to a relatively stable situation along the frontline. The Kreminna area remains heavily engaged, with the Serebryansky Forestry subjected to artillery shelling and local assaults," Roman Pohorily explained.

Pohorily emphasized the dynamic nature of the southern direction, with ongoing assaults in the Robotyne area, on the outskirts of Novoprokopivka and Verbove, where the Armed Forces continue their operations.

Regarding recent map updates, the co-founder of DeepState pointed out, "In Klishchiivka, there's been a noticeable expansion of the gray zone to the north of the settlement, indicating active Defense Forces operations. The General Staff advises patience as our forces work on stabilizing this area. The main goal is to establish a firm foothold, as the enemy employs artillery and occasional counter-attacks to regain territory. Positive developments can be expected in this settlement soon. Similar operations are underway in the Andriivka area, where the situation is challenging due to the lowland terrain between the heights. Nonetheless, there will be positive news from these areas in the near future."

Regarding Marinka and Avdiivka, Roman mentioned that the situation there remained tense. Near Avdiivka, the enemy had been amassing forces and intermittently using neighboring villages for assaults, including Opytne, Kruta Balka, and Vodyane. The Armed Forces have been repelling these attacks, and as soon as an opportunity arises to reclaim the territory, they will take it, as evidenced by the appearance of a blue zone in the Opytne district.

Roman noted, "The most significant changes and activity are happening in the Robotyne area, where the Armed Forces are making offensive strides. Our best strategy is to prevent the enemy from consolidating, as any pause allows them to fortify positions, dig trenches, and mobilize reserves. The situation is marked by ongoing assaults and high dynamism. There is also information from other directions and populated areas, but it remains sensitive and may hold surprises for both us and the enemy. These may be diversionary maneuvers, and their true nature will become clear over time, whether they signify a new direction of advancement or measures to secure flanks. As of now, there haven't been any significant publicized changes or information."

  • On September 13, Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar, reported a deterioration in the situation in Marinka and Avdiivka, with the enemy initiating assaults.

  • The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed that partial success had been achieved in the areas of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Kurdyumivka in the Donetsk region, resulting in the displacement of the enemy and the establishment of fortified positions along the achieved boundaries.
