Ukrainian army has partial gains in Klishchiyivka, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka areas near Bakhmut – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol sector and offensive actions in the Bakhmut sector.

Ukrainian aviation destroys two Russian air defense systems

Also, Ukrainian aviation launched 10 strikes on the invading Russian troops' military positions. 

In turn, the missile troops destroyed a command post, an anti-aircraft missile system, 10 artillery pieces, 2 munitions depots and an enemy electronic warfare station.

Russia launched 80 airstrikes against Ukraine during the day

Today, the Russian Federation also launched another massive strike with Iranian Shahed-136/131 UAVs in the Odesa and Sumy regions. The main target of the strike was the port infrastructure in the cities of Izmail and Reni in the Odesa region. Air defense destroyed 34 out of 45 enemy Shaheds. 

In total, the enemy launched a missile attack and 32 MLRS attacks at the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas over the last day. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Port infrastructure, private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

During the last day, 24 combat engagements took place in the main frontline areas.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 30 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions

• In the Kupyansk direction, 6 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

• In the Lyman direction, over 20 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

• In the Bakhmut direction, over 20 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

• In the Avdiivka direction, more than 6 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked. 

• In the Maryinka direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

• In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 20 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, about 20 towns and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army. 

Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said that the situation in Maryinka and Avdiivka has escalated, and the enemy has started assaults.
