Russia's strategies to protect its capital are not working - military expert Zgurets
Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets noted that the Ukrainian side's efforts to strike at military targets in Russia will continue
He said this on Espreso TV.
"There have been hits in Moscow, and they will be scaled up, given Ukraine's ability to create long-range missile systems and unmanned systems. It is worth mentioning that at one time, the Russians actively demonstrated Pantsir-S systems, which were placed on buildings near the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow," Zgurets emphasized.
According to the expert, it turned out that none of Russia's strategies to protect its capital with air defense and electronic warfare are working.
"It is easier for Russians to use the media to create a different reality. That they repel all threats, but the reality is different. The efforts of the Ukrainian side aimed at strikes on military targets in the Russian Federation that influence the Russian leadership will continue," Zgurets emphasized.

On the night of July 24, explosions occurred in different parts of Moscow. Russian media and Telegram channels report damage to a building near the Russian Defense Ministry and a business center, while the authorities blame Ukraine for the drone attack.
Russian authorities' reaction to the explosions in Moscow
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that two UAVs were allegedly spotted in the city.
"Today at about four a.m., drone strikes on two non-residential buildings were recorded. There was no serious damage or casualties. All operational services are working on the spot," he said.
Instead, the Russian Defense Ministry later said that they had allegedly succeeded in stopping an attempted attack by Ukrainian drones.
"On the morning of July 24, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack with two unmanned aerial vehicles against targets in Moscow was prevented. Two Ukrainian UAVs were suppressed by electronic warfare and crashed. There were no casualties as a result of the stopped terrorist attack by the Kyiv regime," the statement says.
