Since 2014, 96 journalists killed as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine
Ukraine’s Institute of Mass Information estimates that Russian aggression claimed lives of 96 media workers since 2014

"We are grateful to the defenders who allow us to live and work in our country! Since 2014, Russia has killed 96 journalists in Ukraine," the statement reads.
According to the Institute, 69 of those who died were defending Ukraine on the battlefield.

On April 25, a servicewoman, journalist of Tyzhden and Chytomo media outlets Alla Pushkarchuk (Ruta) died at the front.

On April 20, journalist and defender of Ukraine Andrii Topchiy was killed during a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region near the village of Robotyne.
