Russia's artillery strike on Ukraine’s Nikopol kills two people, injures five more
Invading Russian army launched an artillery attack on the city of Nikopol in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, killing two people and injuring five others
Serhii Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the news.
"Two people were killed in the district center as a result of the shelling, and five more were injured," he said.
Two of the injured are in serious condition.
Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration clarified that the shelling killed a woman, who is currently being identified. In addition, the life of a 30-year-old man was cut short - he was a doctor. The aggressor state hit the outpatient clinic where he was working. His colleague was also injured. Now doctors are fighting for her life.
"In addition to the medical facility, an industrial enterprise, 2 educational institutions, 2 shops, a bank, and a cafe were damaged. Three multi-storey buildings, 2 cars were damaged, and one more was destroyed," added Lysak.
