A Russian drone attack on Mykolaiv overnight killed five people—three women and two men
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaliy Kim reported the information.
“A UAV strike destroyed a private one-story house, igniting a fire. An apartment on the fourth floor of a four-story building was also destroyed, with fires spreading to the third and fourth floors. So far, five people have been reported dead, and their bodies were recovered by rescuers,” the State Emergency Service reported.
The Prosecutor General's Office clarified that the victims were three women and two men. Another woman was injured. Information about other victims is being clarified.
At the scene, prosecutors, in cooperation with Ukraine's Security Service and police investigators, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.
Psychologists are working at the scene, and 22 people have turned to them for help. One woman had an acute stress reaction and was hospitalized with a hypertensive crisis.
Rescuers extinguished fires of 60 and 150 square meters.
“Five dead. Search and rescue operations completed,” Vitaliy Kim wrote at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, November 11.
Earlier, he reported four victims.
The head of the Regional Military Administration reported the drone attack on Mykolaiv at 3:30 a.m. on November 11.
“There are fires in residential buildings in the city, all services are on the ground,” he wrote.
Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych also informed that Russian troops had attacked the city with drones, and there was damage to residential buildings.
At 4 a.m., it was reported that two people were killed in the night attack and a 45-year-old woman was wounded and hospitalized.
