Russian army drops bombs on center of Kupyansk, causing casualties
On February 28, Russian troops attacked the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, with guided bombs, killing two people and injuring a woman
Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported this.
The Russian army hit the central part of Kupyansk with guided bombs.
The attacks killed a 59-year-old and a 39-year-old man, and wounded a woman.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, there are probably still people under the rubble.
Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged in the attack. Specialized services are working on the spot.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs later clarified, the Church of Jesus Christ was hit. A 58-year-old pastor was trapped in the rubble and sustained life-threatening injuries.
The cafe was also damaged.
- On February 27, in the Sumy region, Russia struck at police officers who had come to document the consequences of the Russian shelling: two law enforcement officers were killed and six others were wounded.
