Russian forces loot maternity hospital in Luhansk region, set up field hospital there – General Staff

In the Luhansk region, invading Russian forces have removed furniture from a maternity hospital and turned the territory into a field hospital

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General  Staff reported this on June 30.

"Occupying Russian forces continue looting and using the civilian medical infrastructure of the temporarily occupied settlements to provide medical care to their wounded soldiers," the report says.

For example, in Novopskov, Luhansk region, Russian troops loaded furniture from the maternity hospital onto military vehicles and took it to an unknown destination, and the territory of the maternity hospital is being converted into a field hospital.

Russia launched 8 missile strikes, 34 airstrikes, about 40 MLRS over the day

Last night, the Russian forces launched another missile and air strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 4 anti-aircraft guided missiles from S-300 and 13 Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs against military and infrastructure facilities in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 10 of the 13 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.

Over the day, the Russian army launched 8 missile strikes, 34 airstrikes, and about 40 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of the attacks, civilians were killed and wounded, and more than 20 civilian residential buildings and an educational complex were damaged.

The threat of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

Frontline situation 

 Invading Russian forces are attacking in the Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka directions, and heavy fighting continues. There were 18 combat engagements over the last day.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: over 10 settlements in the Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions

In the Kupiansk direction, 7 settlements  in the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

In the Lyman direction, over 10 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions came under enemy fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, about 15 localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

In the Avdiivka direction, over 15 settlements of the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all of the Russian forces' assaults, however, about 10 settlements of the Donetsk region were attacked. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, about 15 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 40 towns and villages  were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 6 Russian military positions

Over the past day, the Defense Forces launched 10 attacks on the Russian troops' military positions and 1 attack on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.

Over the course of the day, missile and artillery units struck 6 manpower consecration areas, 3 munitions depots, 24 artillery pieces at firing positions and an electronic warfare station.

Russian soldies are killing each other

In the village of Serhiivka, Kherson region, after the next rotation at the positions, from June 15 to the present, up to 10 enemy soldiers have been blown up on mines in one of the units of the 5th Army of the Eastern Military District.

The mines were laid by the previous rotation of Russians.
