President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that there is no ready-made plan to end the war in Ukraine in Donald Trump's administration yet, but work on it will begin soon

He said this in an interview with The Economist.

"I’m sure there isn’t a ready plan yet. Why? Because a plan can’t be purely American. Because the war is happening here. And without our joint work, without consulting us, I think it can’t be complete. President Trump’s team probably has some developments. I’m sure they do, because it’s a very important issue for them," Zelenskyy stated.

He also noted that the Office of the President has not yet seen any drafts or heard any specific proposals.

"I think February will be the month when this work begins. I think President Trump is dealing with domestic issues in the United States, and I think that’s his priority. At least, that’s what we see in the public domain, and I don’t have any other information," Zelenskyy added.

  • Putin will only agree to a truce if he believes Russia’s economy cannot sustain both war and social stability.
