Russian attacks across Ukraine

Over the past day, May 29, 116 combat engagements took place. According to the updated information, the Russian aggressor launched five missile attacks on the Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas, 58 airstrikes, using 94 guided bombs, and over 3,000 shelling, including 127 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, Russian attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.

Russia launched airstrikes near the settlements of Lyptsi, Neskuchne, Bilyi Kolodiaz, Hlyboke, Synelnykove, Zelene, Udy, Tsyrkuny, Ruska Lozova, Vilcha, and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; Dronivka, Lyman, Zarichne, Yevhenivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Stupochky, Oleksandropil, Druzhba, Pivnichne, Kostiantynivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.

Over the past day, the Air Force, missile forces, and artillery hit 14 Russian manpower concentration areas and two other important targets.

Yesterday, the total losses of the Russian forces amounted to about 1,160 soldiers. Russia also lost 10 tanks, 22 armored combat vehicles, 35 artillery systems, one MLRS, 22 tactical UAVs, 53 vehicles, and 11 units of special equipment.

On the night of May 30, 2024, the Russian army launched a massive airstrike on the territory of Ukraine using eight S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kharkiv region (launched from the border areas of the Russian Federation), 11 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft (launch area - Saratov region, Russia) and 32 Shahed attack UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied by Russia territory of Ukrainian Crimea). As a result of the air battle, seven Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles and 32 Shaheds were shot down in the Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions.

Frontline situation on May 30

As of 10 a.m. today, 28 combat engagements took place. The Russians fired 534 times at the positions of the Ukrainian troops and populated areas using various types of weapons, including 11 times from multiple launch rocket launchers. Russian forces also launched four airstrikes using seven guided missiles and 63 ‘kamikaze’ drones for their groundless aggression.

In the Kharkiv sector, one Russian attack was repelled from Murom to Starytsia. No positions were lost.

Russia is redeploying additional reserves to this area from other directions. Ukrainian troops are taking measures to strengthen the resilience of the defense.

Over the past day, the Russian total losses in this sector amounted to 155 soldiers, 64 of them irrecoverable, and 49 pieces of weapons and military equipment. One artillery system, 16 vehicles, and 3 units of special equipment were destroyed. One tank, one MLRS, seven artillery systems, and four enemy vehicles were damaged. In addition, nine dugouts and three ammunition depots were destroyed.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled a Russian attack near Stepova Novoselivka since the beginning of the day. The battle near Petropavlivka continues.

Yesterday, the Russians lost 108 people killed and wounded in the Kupyansk sector. Among other things, a tank, an ammunition depot, and a ground drone were destroyed.

In the Lyman sector, a firefight continues in the Serebrianske foresty.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army has already made six attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses. Ukrainian soldiers skillfully repelled a Russian attack near Bilohorivka. Five enemy assaults near Razdolivka are being repelled.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops have prevented three Russian attacks since the beginning of the day. An attack near Klishchiivka has been repelled. Fighting continues in the Novyi and Kalynivka neighborhoods.

Russia has become more active in the Toretsk sector. Today, a firefight continues near Kurdiumivka. Ukrainian positions were not lost, the situation is under control.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped two Russian assault attacks near Sokil. Since the beginning of this day, the Russian losses have amounted to 77 people killed and wounded. Among other things, the invading army lost two tanks and four armored combat vehicles.

Yesterday's Russian activity in this area resulted in 264 casualties, 124 of them irretrievable. One tank, six armored personnel carriers, an electronic warfare vehicle, two vehicles, and a mortar were destroyed. Two tanks and four armored combat vehicles were damaged.

Seven combat engagements occurred in the Kurakhove sector so far. Five hostile attacks were repelled in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, and Heorhiivka. The situation is under control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Fighting continues near Krasnohorivka and Umanske.

In the Vremivka sector, fighting continues near Staromaiorske, and in the Orikhiv sector - near Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, at a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River, a Russian attack near Oleshkivski Pisky was repelled.

In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking all measures to disrupt Russia's criminal intentions. Ukrainian artillery, rocket launchers, aviation, and unmanned systems operators are working in accordance with the assigned tasks.
