Ukrainian cyber specialists attack websites of Russian army suppliers
Ukrainian cyber specialists target several Russian online resources linked to supplying the Russian army and tracking people in Russia
According to reports from Babel, Suspilne, and NV.ua, Ukrainian cyber specialists gained access to okrug.ru as a result of the operation. This website is a supplier of military equipment and uniforms for the Russian Space Force, Ground Forces, and Navy.
In addition, hackers targeted the vashhotel.ru website, gaining access to user data, including that of Russian military personnel who booked accommodations within Russia. The Gostpatent.ru website, which houses a database of registered patents and may be of interest to military intelligence, was also compromised.
“All of these resources serve the interests of the aggressor state and support the Russian occupying army. Moreover, as a result of the cyberattack, an image of an owl (the symbol Ukraine's intelligence agency - ed.) appeared over the neutralized aggressor on the affected sites,” the source stated.
