Ukrainian army forced to withdraw: expert on situation in Chasiv Yar
Ruslan Mykula, co-founder and analyst of the DeepState project, says that the Kanal neighborhood in Chasiv Yar is completely destroyed
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The situation is complicated. The Russian army occupied the Kanal neighborhood yesterday. It is called Novyi on the headquarters maps. Unfortunately, we had to retreat as the neighborhood was completely destroyed. Holding positions in this neighborhood is also complicated by the fact that logistics is carried out at several points across the Kanal. The enemy is constantly shelling these crossing points," explained Mykula.
According to the co-founder and analyst of the DeepState project, further maintenance of the ruins in the Kanal neighborhood would have caused very large and unjustified losses among the Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.
"That's why we decided to withdraw, and this decision is really about preserving the personnel," Mykula emphasized.
