Ukraine’s air defense downs 6 Russian cruise missiles, 133 attack drones overnight

Overall, during the night, Russian troops launched 213 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of decoy drones at Ukraine from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Additionally, they launched seven Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Air Force and the Defense Forces.
As of 11:00 a.m., the military confirmed the downing of six Kh-101 cruise missiles and 133 attack UAVs over the Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Another 79 Russian decoy drones were lost due to localization failures.
- As a result of the Russian attack, the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions suffered damage.
