The Ukrainian Air Force reported the information.
According to preliminary data, the radio-technical forces of the Air Force recorded 132 Russian aerial attack weapons, including 23 missiles of various types and 109 attack drones, specifically:
- 9 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles (launched from Tu-95MS aircraft in the airspace of Saratov region, Russia)
- 8 Kalibr cruise missiles (launched from the Black Sea area)
- 6 Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch areas – Bryansk region, Russia)
- 109 Shahed-type attack UAVs and imitator drones of other types (launch areas – Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea)
The Russian airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 10:00 a.m., the military confirmed the destruction of 53 Russian aerial targets, including:
- 6 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles
- 6 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile
- 40 Shahed-type attack UAVs
In addition, another 53 Russian imitator drones were lost in the area.
- The Russian attack affected Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Mykolaiv regions. In particular, four people were injured in Mykolaiv as a result of a drone attack, and there was destruction in Sumy. In addition, there were civilian casualties as a result of the morning missile attack on Kyiv.
