Suspilne Donbas editor-in-chief Andrii Kramchenkov says that the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway, which feeds a huge chunk of the front, may be under the Russian army’s fire control

He shared the information on Espreso TV.

"The main directions of Russian assaults are the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions. There are about 7 kilometers left to the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway. The Russian artillery is already reaching the road, soon mortars will start to reach it as well. This means that this highway, which feeds a huge chunk of the frontline, will soon be under enemy fire control. If you drive along it, you can see burning fields. The State Emergency Service reports that the Russian military regularly sets fire to fields with our wheat," Kramchenkov said.

The editor-in-chief of Suspilne Donbas added that Russian troops are destroying Kostiantynivka with air bombs. If the Russian army comes to Chasiv Yar, it will start using artillery, and the situation will become even more complicated.

"Toretsk and New York are also the areas of the main Russian assaults. New York is being destroyed by air bombs. Russians are dropping bombs at night and in the morning, drones in the morning, and enemy artillery in the afternoon," Kramchenkov noted.

  • Over the course of July 3, 161 combat clashes took place at the front. Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.
  • Ruslan Mykula, co-founder and analyst of the DeepState project, noted that the Kanal neighborhood in Chasiv Yar was completely destroyed.
