Russian army tries to encircle key areas near New York - DeepState
DeepState OSINT project's co-founder Roman Pohorilyi says that Russian forces are continuing to make chaotic attempts to move toward Toretsk
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"Russians are making efforts to advance in the direction of Toretsk. An enemy flag has been spotted in the village of New York, though this does not indicate full control of the settlement. Instead, it reflects ongoing attempts by Russian forces to move into and establish a foothold there. Additionally, movements are observed from Zalizne toward New York, suggesting that Russia aims to 'close' the encirclement in the area. Russian troops are also attempting to advance from Zalizne, Druzhba, and Pivdenne toward Toretsk. They have not yet entered the town or secured a position, but there are attempts," explained Pohorilyi.
According to the analyst, Russian intelligence groups are actively working in the Toretsk direction, trying to find weaknesses.
"Our military is hitting the Russian infantry. Dense housing favors the Russians, because they can hide, gain a foothold, and hide there. Unfortunately, there are a lot of Russians. They are moving wherever they can, making chaotic attempts to move towards Toretsk," emphasized Pohorilyi.
- Over the last day, 136 combat clashes took place at the front. The Russian army is advancing most actively in the Pokrovsk direction.
- Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer with the Information Resistance group, noted that Novohrodivka and Hrodivka are an obstacle on Russian troops' way to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
