136 combat clashes on frontline, Ukraine repels Russian attacks in 10 directions

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russian troops launched two missile attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas using three missiles, as well as 73 air strikes, dropping 97 KAB bombs. Russian troops carried out over 4,900 attacks, including 79 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian air strikes targeted 7 settlements in the Sumy region; 5 settlements in the Kharkiv region; 17 settlements in the Donetsk region; one settlement in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery conducted 25 strikes on Russian troops and equipment concentrations, and destroyed four command posts, two air defense facilities, four artillery facilities and a fuel and lubricant depot.

Frontline update

Nine battles took place in the Kharkiv direction. Ukrainian defense forces rebuffed Russian assaults near Lyptsi, Tykhe and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, six combat clashes took place, in particular, near Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Hlushkivka and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian military attacked 19 times near Makiivka, Nevske, Terny, Torske and Serebryanka forestry.

There were 21 combat clashes in the Siversk direction. Ukrainian defenders fought off Russian assaults near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Vyimka, Pereizne and Spirne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there were 10 battles, in particular near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske.

In the Toretsk direction, Russians attacked 18 times near Pivnichne, Toretsk and Niu York.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders countered 42 Russian assaults near Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne, Kalynove, Oleksandrivka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Kalynivka, Skuchne, Yasnobrodivka, Karlivka, Panteleimonivka, Novozhelanne and Mezhove.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped eight attacks near Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka. Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces stormed Ukrainian troops' positions near Vodiane.

In the Kherson direction, two Russian offensives were unsuccessful.

The situation in the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions remained unchanged.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia maintains a military presence, shelling populated areas from Russian territory, conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.

• Over the past day, the occupying Russian army lost 1,230 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 8 tanks and 67 artillery systems.
