"Russia must not win this war": new Dutch Prime Minister on Okhmatdyt hospital attack
The new Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, commented on the Russian attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, noting that this attack shows the ruthless cruelty of the Putin regime
Dick Schoof made the statement on his X account.
"This clearly shows why we continue to support Ukraine: for the safety of Ukrainians and for the safety of Europe, and therefore our country. Russia must not win this war," the Dutch prime minister wrote.
He also added that this will be a key issue at the NATO summit in Washington in the coming days.
Russian attack on Okhmatdyt children's hospital
On July 8, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with missiles. The attack resulted in deaths, and the number of injured continues to grow. July 9 is declared a Day of Mourning in the capital.
In Shevchenkivskyi district, two floors of the Okhmatdyt hospital building were destroyed. Two adults (one of them a doctor) were killed, and 10 were injured. Several other buildings were damaged. Work is underway to clear the rubble and search for people.
In addition to Kyiv, Russian troops attacked other Ukrainian cities in the morning. In particular, almost 20 people were killed and about 100 were wounded in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Pokrovsk and Dnipro. Espreso TV was following the situation in real time.- News
