Kalinoŭski regiment of Ukraine's army announces nationwide mobilization campaign among Belarusians

The Kastuś Kalinoŭski Belarusian Regiment, which is part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has appealed to its compatriots and invited to join them

This is stated in an appeal on the regiment's website, to the Freedom Day, on March 25, the 106th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Belarusian People's Republic.

"We, Belarusians, volunteers, fighters of the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment, free people, former civil servants, entrepreneurs, athletes, managers, IT professionals, teachers, doctors; those who were interested in politics and those who were not; those who have military experience and those who are just getting it; people of different ages, worldviews, life experiences and interests, but united by love and respect for their nation and contempt for the brutal regime of the Belarusian authorities and Russia's unjust war against the civilized world, we are announcing a nationwide mobilization campaign," the statement reads.

The soldiers said that the Belarusian dictator Lukashenko is only afraid of them. They noted that every Belarusian can find their place in the regiment.

Those Belarusians who are not ready to join the regiment were urged to support them by spreading this appeal, participating in meetings, buying branded products and helping with their creativity.

A fighter of Kalinoŭski's regiment, Pavel Shurmei (Dziadzka), emphasized that "the fate of free Belarus is being decided here and now."

"The master (of Lukashenko - ed.) Putin wants to expand the war, and this time he will not be able to sit back. The war will affect everyone... Those who stayed at home have a choice - to become cannon fodder in Putin's army or to join us and ensure a decent future for themselves and their children in an independent European Belarus," he said.

For reference. The Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment is a group of Belarusian opposition volunteers, which was formed to defend Ukraine against the 2022 Russian invasion.
