"It happened earlier": military expert on Ukrainian army's withdrawal from Krynky, Kherson region
Ivan Stupak, a military expert and SBU officer in 2004-2015, noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not allow Russians to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Kherson region for a long time
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"There were gossips about the withdrawal of our contingent from the left bank of the Kherson region a few weeks ago. And most likely, it happened earlier. If we announced the withdrawal now and withdrew it, it would endanger our military. It was decided that it was enough to keep our troops there. The guys stayed in Krynky as long as it was appropriate," explained Stupak.
According to the military expert, Krynky are left with only a name, there is nothing there anymore.
"The Russians regularly fired at boats bringing food and ammunition. We understand that the losses of the boats were followed by losses among our servicemen. The Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to attract a certain number of Russian forces to this area. Currently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not there. The Russians are trying to gain a foothold on small islands, where it is difficult to hold on. Our drone operators do not allow the Russians to gain a foothold for a long period of time," Stupak said.
- Roman Pohorilyi, co-founder of DeepState, noted that the situation is escalating in the area of Urozhayne.
- Chief Sergeant of the unmanned systems battalion of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade Rustam (Legion) noted that the Russians have either run out of armoured vehicles in the Pokrovsk direction or are redirecting them to another direction.
