
Russian aggression has killed 618 children in Ukraine
According to juvenile prosecutors in Ukraine, 618 children have been killed and 1,884 have been injured since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion
The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported the information.
"More than 2,502 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of April 14, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 618 children have been killed and more than 1,884 have been injured of varying severity," the report says.
The largest number of children were injured in:
- Donetsk region - 638,
- Kharkiv region - 480,
- Kherson region - 203,
- Dnipropetrovsk region - 228,
- Kyiv region - 136,
- Zaporizhzhya region - 170,
- Mykolaiv region - 118,
- Sumy region - 132.
The Office recalled that on April 13, two boys, 11 and 17 years old, died as a result of the shelling of Sumy, and 15 children of different ages were also injured.
Prior to this, on April 10, a 13-year-old girl was injured as a result of the shelling of the village of Ozerne, Zhytomyr region, and a 16-year-old boy was injured as a result of the shelling of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
