
Russia has killed 616 Ukrainian children since launching full-scale invasion
According to juvenile prosecutors, 616 children have been killed and 2,479 have been injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression
The Prosecutor General's Office reported the information.
As of April 5, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 2,479 children have been affected: 616 have been killed, and 1,863 have been injured to varying degrees of severity.
The most children were affected in the following regions: Donetsk (636), Kharkiv (480), Kherson (202), Dnipropetrovsk (226), Kyiv (136), Zaporizhzhia (170), Mykolaiv (118), and Sumy (115).
In recent days, particularly on April 4, as a result of shelling in the city of Kryvyi Rih, 9 children were killed – two girls aged 7 and 15, and seven boys aged 3, 7, 9, 14, 15, and 16 years old. 11 children were injured – six girls aged 8 months, 2, 3, 7, 14, and 15 years, and 5 boys aged 3 months, 4, 8, and 11 years old.
- On April 3, during shelling in Kharkiv, a 12-year-old girl was killed, and two girls aged 12 and 17 were injured.
- On April 2, as a result of shelling in Kryvyi Rih, an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl were injured.
- On April 2, as a result of shelling in Kharkiv, a 10-year-old boy was injured.
- On April 4, the Russian occupation army launched a missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing 19 civilians, including 9 children.
