187 combat clashes reported on Russia-Ukraine frontline, Russian troops drop 19 KABs in Kursk region

On September 26, 187 combat clashes were reported along the frontline, with the most intense fighting occurring in the Pokrovsk sector. The Russian army was also active in the Kurakhove sector

This is stated in the report of the Ukrainian General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on September 27.

Over the past day, 187 combat clashes were registered. 

According to updated information, on September 26, the Russian army launched five strikes with eight missiles and 71 air strikes against Ukrainian units and settlements, deploying 96 KABs. They also fired more than 4,800 rounds, including 224 from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russia carried out air strikes near 15 settlements in Sumy region; 5 in Kharkiv region; 11 in Donetsk region; 2 in Zaporizhzhia region and 1 in Kherson region.

Yesterday, Ukraine's aviation, missile forces and artillery conducted four strikes on Russian personnel and weapons concentrations.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, three firefights took place near Starytsia, Tykhe and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were 20 combat clashes. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russia's assaults near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova, Stelmakhivka and Kolisnykivka.

There were 15 combat clashes in the Lyman direction. Russian troops attacked near Hrekivka, Nevske, Novosadove and Torske.

Four battles took place in the Siversk direction. Ukrainian forces stopped all Russia's attempts to break through the defense near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske and Spirne.

There were 10 firefights in the Kramatorsk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian assault operations near Minkivka, Hryhorivka and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, 18 combat clashes took place, in particular, near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka and Leonidivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 42 Russian assaults in the areas of 8 settlements. The highest concentration of attacks was near Selydove and Marynivka.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 36 Russian attacks near 7 settlements.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian invaders conducted five offensives near Vodiane, Katerynivka and Bohoyavlenka.

Three firefights took place in the Orikhiv direction. Ukrainian defenders rebuffed Russia's attacks near Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the occupying Russian forces also suffered defeats, attacking the Ukrainian defensive lines twice.

The situation in the Huliaipole direction remained unchanged.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups formation were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia is actively using guided aerial bombs and attack UAVs, conducting mortar and artillery shelling of Ukrainian settlements.

Russian KABs are also detonating in the Kursk region, where Ukrainian troops are conducting operations. Reports indicate that Russia carried out 16 air strikes over the past day, utilizing 19 KABs.

At the same time, the Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, depleting the Russian a armylong the entire frontline.

  • According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian army is amassing personnel for assault groups in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
