Russia shells 9 Ukrainian regions in a day: killing 4 people, injuring 21

During the day on July 29, the Russian army struck nine different regions of Ukraine. Four people were killed and 21 more were injured

Regional military administrations report this. 

Chernihiv region: In the past day, nine settlements in the region experienced 16 attacks. The enemy used artillery, mortars, and rocket launchers, resulting in four buildings and outbuildings burning in Orlykivka.

Sumy region: Last night, Russian terrorists attacked an educational institution in Sumy. One person died, and at least 17 others were injured. They also targeted 16 settlements in nine communities using various weapons, damaging three private homes, two commercial buildings, and a power line. Also, on July 30, there were 14 enemy attacks on 12 settlements in five communities, but there were no injuries or damage reported.

Dnipropetrovsk region: During the night, the enemy made four strikes on Nikopol region and two communities. Ukrainian defenders successfully shot down two enemy drones, but fragments caused a fire and warehouse damage at a private agricultural company. No casualties occurred.

Zaporizhzhia region: In the past day, the Russians attacked 20 settlements in the region with 77 strikes, using artillery, drones, and aviation. There were 31 reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Two people lost their lives, and two others were injured in the attacks.

Kharkiv region: On the last day, the enemy fired mortars and artillery at 12 settlements in the region, but there were no casualties or damage.

Luhansk region: In the past day, there were 105 attacks in the region, including Nevske and Bilohorivka. Unfortunately, there is no information about casualties or damage. The enemy also attempted attacks near Novoyehorivka and Svatove area, which were unsuccessful.

Donetsk region: Over the past day, the enemy struck seven settlements, resulting in damage to five residential buildings and two commercial buildings. One person died in these attacks.

Mykolaiv region: Yesterday, the Russians fired artillery at Ochakiv and the water area of the Ochakiv community, but thankfully there were no casualties. Ukrainian defenders successfully destroyed an enemy reconnaissance drone Merlin-VR.

Kherson region: In the past day, the Russian army carried out 69 attacks in the region, including 11 in Kherson. They targeted 28 settlements and the Palada plant in Kherson, resulting in two people being wounded.

  • On July 30, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported 36 combat clashes at the front during the day.
