Russia shells 4 districts of Kharkiv region: houses and recreation centers damaged, man injured, animals killed

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported the attack on Telegram.

Thus, as a result of a missile strike on the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district, a residential building was destroyed. A civilian man was injured. In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, 6 houses and outbuildings were damaged by shelling.

In Chuhuiv, buildings of 2 recreation centers, as well as catamarans and boats were damaged.

In the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv district, 2 houses and a bus were damaged by shelling, and domestic animals were killed and injured.

In addition, in the village of Kamyanka, Izium district, a 61-year-old man exploded on an unknown munition in his own yard. He was hospitalized with an injury.

• According to the Ukrainian General Staff, as of May 22, Russia maintains military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, and hostile sabotage and reconnaissance groups are operating in some parts of the state border. On May 21, Russian troops fired mortars and artillery at 21 settlements in the Kharkiv region. In the Kupyansk direction, they are trying to improve the tactical situation. Russian forces launched unsuccessful attacks near Masiutivka.
