Russia prepares false-flag attack on Ukrainian-Belarusian border – intelligence
Russian authorities are preparing for a large-scale false-flag attack on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border and invite propagandist Vladimir Solovyov to cover it
The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense reported this.
“We have received information that in the near future the Russian Federation's military-political command is planning a large-scale false-flag attack on the border of Ukraine and Belarus,” the press service writes.
It is reported that propagandist Vladimir Solovyov will arrive in Belarus to provide detailed coverage of the provocation.
On March 11, the enemy plans to organize a live broadcast from the scene for the Russian media.
“For this purpose, several groups of Russians are arriving in Belarus. Presumably, the occupying forces' plans involve the destruction of infrastructure and possible civilian casualties,” the Ukrainian intelligence emphasizes.
The purpose of the large-scale provocation is to create hostile public opinion towards Ukraine among Belarusians and to ensure the full participation of the country's armed forces in the war on the Russian side.
The Main Intelligence Directorate reminds that Ukraine does not conduct any military operations on the territory of Belarus.
