Belarus border situation is somewhat tense, but remains under control  – Ukraine's Border Guard

Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko stated this during the telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"The situation also remains fully controlled in those areas where the enemy was repulsed - within the borders of Chernihiv, Sumy, and part of Kharkiv regions," he added.

While there is no known strike group from Russia in the area, the enemy continues to launch attacks on the border using various weapons including artillery, mortars, small arms, and even rocket launches by aircraft.

The spokesman also assured that the situation at the border with Belarus is fully under control, but acknowledged that the presence of Russian troops on Belarusian territory is causing some tension.
