Russia attacks Kharkiv region: explosions in the regional center
In the evening of January 10, Russian occupying forces attacked the Kharkiv region.
Oleh Synyehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
"Attention, residents of Kharkiv and the region. Stay in shelters. Russian occupying forces shell again!" Synyehubov wrote.
At the same time, Suspilne reported that explosions were heard twice in Kharkiv.
After some time, Synyehubov specified that Russian invading forces aimed at a warehouse of pyrotechnics, provoking the detonation.
"Russian occupying forces struck Kyiv district in Kharkiv. The pyrotechnic warehouse was hit. Detonation of pyrotechnic products was observed. So far, there were no casualties. Emergency services specialists are working on the spot," Synyehubov wrote.
Suspilne released a video of pyrotechnics detonation.
Earlier that day, the head of German Foreign Ministry, Annalena Baerbock, paid an unannounced visit to Kharkiv. She called the city "a symbol of absolute madness of Russian-aggression war" and assured of Germany's continued support for Ukraine, including the supply of weapons.

The day before, on the morning of January 9, Russian occupying forces hit a market in Shevchenkove village, Kharkiv region, with a missile. As a result of the attack, two women were killed, and 6 civilians were injured.

Earlier, on Saturday, January 7, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Merefa, Kharkiv region, as a result of which a 50-year-old man was killed.
