Preparations are underway in US to mark anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine

The White House noted that preparations for the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine are in full swing, but did not provide details

White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre reported this during a media briefing on January 27.

"Planning for how we will recognize the one-year anniversary is well underway here at the White House and across the government. But as a general matter, I am not going to get into internal discussions or read out any options we are currently looking at," the spokeswoman said.

US President Joe Biden would like to visit Ukraine, but it is not the right time for that yet.
According to NBC journalists, Joe Biden is planning a visit to Europe on the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The American leader is likely to visit Poland and announce a new aid package for Ukraine.
