Poland sends 10 more Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said that Poland has sent 10 more Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine, the first four of the 14 promised were received on February 24
This is stated on the Polish Ministry of Defense website.
Mariusz Błaszczak reminded that Poland was one of the initiators of the Leopard battle tanks coalition. The AFU has already received 4 units, and 10 more will arrive this week.
"I'll just remind you: I agreed with the German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius that I will be responsible for creating a coalition of countries to supply Leopard 2A4 tanks, and Minister Pistorius will be responsible for Leopard 2A6 tanks. I initiated this coalition. 14 Polish tanks, 4 are already in Ukraine. Another 10 will be delivered to Ukraine this week," said the Polish Deputy Prime Minister.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, stated that in total Ukraine will receive at least two battalions of Leopard 2 tanks and 6-7 battalions of Leopard 1 tanks from its partners.

On Friday, February 24, Poland sent the first Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukrainian front. Oleksii Reznikov and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal together with Mateusz Morawiecki received the first four Leopard 2 tanks.
