On January 5, Russia loses 810 soldiers, helicopter and aircraft

Since starting the war in Ukraine, Russia has lost 109,720 soldiers, 3,041 tanks, 1,844 drones, 284 aircraft and 271 helicopters

This is reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

From February 24, 2022, to January 5, 2023, Russia lost:

personnel - about 109 720 (+810 per day)

tanks - 3041 (+3)

armored combat vehicles - 6108 (+2)

artillery systems - 2051 (+12)

MLRS - 426 (+2)

air defense systems - 215

aircraft - 284 (+1)

helicopters - 271 (+1)

UAVs of operational and tactical level - 1844 (+2)

cruise missiles - 723

ships/boats - 16

motor vehicles and tanks - 4759 (+14)

special equipment - 182 (+1)

"The data is being updated," the General Staff emphasized.

 
  • On January 3, Ukrainian artillery destroyed the Russian base in the temporarily occupied Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region. The base was located in a local hospital. The General Staff confirmed that by the destruction of the Russian concentration point in Tokmak, the Russian losses amounted to 80 people killed and injured.
