The White House said in a statement.

Biden emphasized that the massive Russian attack, which killed dozens of civilians and damaged Kyiv's largest children's hospital, is a horrific reminder of Russia's brutality. In his opinion, at such a moment, it is important that the world continues to support Ukraine and does not ignore Russia's aggression.

The US president noted that he would meet with the Ukrainian leader during the NATO leaders' summit in Washington to make clear the unwavering support for Ukraine.

“Together with our allies, we will be announcing new measures to strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses to help protect their cities and civilians from Russian strikes. The United States stands with the people of Ukraine,” Joe Biden said.

Russia's massive attack on July 8

On the morning of July 8, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. As a result of Russian missiles hitting the Kyiv region, Kryvyi Rih, Pokrovsk, Dnipro and Kyiv, there were numerous killed and wounded.

Also, on the morning of July 8, Kryvyi Rih came under a massive Russian missile attack.

Ukraine's Prosecutor General’s Office will submit all available materials and evidence regarding Russia's massive attack on Ukraine to the International Criminal Court. At the same time, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, parliamentary factions and groups called on the world to recognize the July 8 attack on Ukraine as a terrorist attack, to give Ukraine more weapons, and to lift restrictions on their use.
