Ukrainian forces strike Russian drone manufacturing facility in Taganrog with missiles
On the night of January 13, Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck the Atlant Aero facility in Taganrog, Rostov region, Russia, with Ukrainian-made missiles
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.
Explosions and fire were recorded on the facility's territory in the area of production buildings. The scale of the damage is being clarified.
Atlant Aero conducts the full cycle of design, manufacturing, and testing of strike-reconnaissance UAVs of the Molniya type, as well as components for Orion UAVs.
The General Staff noted that hitting this target will reduce the enemy's UAV production capabilities and weaken the Russian aggressor's ability to strike civilian targets on Ukrainian territory.
In addition, Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a number of enemy targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Specifically, in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region, they struck a Tor surface-to-air missile system, a Tunguska anti-aircraft missile system, a P-18-2 Prima radar station, and a concentration of enemy manpower in the Lyubymivka area.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, they hit an ammunition depot and a concentration of enemy manpower in the Makiivka area, as well as a Tor surface-to-air missile system in the settlement of Soniachne.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck three drilling rigs belonging to the Lukoil corporation in the Caspian Sea.
