"To be clear, there are no political or security issues on the agenda. Ukraine is not on the agenda," Rubio emphasized.
During bilateral talks in Saudi Arabia, U.S. Secretary of State and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov agreed to resume discussions, including on the operation of embassies.
- Earlier, media reported that on Thursday, February 27, a meeting of representatives from Russia and the United States would take place in Istanbul, where they would discuss, among other things, the operation of embassies.
- U.S. President Donald Trump also refused to call Russian leader Vladimir Putin a dictator.
