Ukrainian air defenses shoot down 354 Russian threats in massive night attack

Ukraine’s Air Force reported the information.
Starting at 8:00 p.m. on June 22, Russia launched 368 air attacks on Ukraine, including:
- 352 Shahed-type attack drones and drone decoys from areas like Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (up to 160 were real Shaheds),
- 11 Iskander-M and KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Taganrog and Bryansk regions,
- 5 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk area.
The main target of the attack was the city of Kyiv. Ukrainian air defense used fighter jets, anti-aircraft missiles, electronic warfare, drones, and mobile fire units to fight off the attack.
According to reports, as of 9:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defense destroyed 354 Russian air attack targets. Of these, 158 were shot down by weapons.
In detail:
- 146 Russian drones were shot down by weapons.
- 193 drones were jammed or lost due to electronic warfare.
- Air defenses also shot down seven Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. Three more were lost in flight.
- All five Iskander-K cruise missiles were destroyed.
Russian weapons hit six locations directly. Drones and missile parts also crashed in 25 places in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The attack caused deaths, injuries, and damage. Read more.
