Russia moves reserves from Kupyansk direction to advance to Lyman — platoon commander of 95th Air Assault Brigade

Stanislav Krasnov, platoon commander of the 1st Air Assault Battalion of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade, noted that the situation in the Lyman direction is more difficult than in the Kupyansk direction

He shared the information on Espreso TV.

"The situation is more complicated in the Lyman direction than in the Kupyansk direction. I managed to visit both recently. There are more attacks in the Lyman direction. This is due to the fact that the enemy suffered huge losses in the Kupyansk direction. They managed to break through the line at Synkivka and want to build on their success in the direction of Terny," noted Krasnov.

According to the platoon commander of the 95th Air Assault Brigade, Russia has deployed all its forces to break through the line at Terny in order to advance to Lyman.

"According to intelligence and prisoners of war, the Russians were able to move their reserves, which were concentrated in the area of Kupyansk. They transferred all their forces to break through the line at Terny to advance to Lyman. Heavy fighting is going on, the Russians are trying to storm it. The occupiers are moving in infantry groups and large armored groups, trying to break through the Ukrainian defense line. So far we have managed to stabilize the situation and even counterattack and push the occupiers back," emphasized Krasnov. 

• Over the past day, 59 combat clashes took place between the two armies at the front. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks in 6 directions and eliminated 820 Russian soldiers.
• The Institute for the Study of War writes that since the beginning of 2024, the Russian occupying army has been able to advance in Ukraine by almost 100 square kilometers.
