Over the past day, 59 combat clashes took place between the two armies at the front. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks in 6 directions and eliminated 820 Russian soldiers

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to March 29, 2024, amounted to:

  • artillery systems – 10,991 (+28) 
  • MLRS – 1,023 (+2)

General Staff's report: Russia conducts active offensive in 6 directions: 59 combat clashes on the frontline

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. The Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations.

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's soldiers repulsed 6 attacks near the settlements of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces rebuffed 13 attacks near Chasiv Yar, Novyi, Klishchiivka and Andriivka, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukraine's defenders repelled 3 attacks near Semenivka, Donetsk region, where Russian troops tried to drive them out of their positions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defense forces are holding back Russian troops near Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where they tried to break through the Ukrainian defense over 22 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops launched 8 attacks near Robotyne, Verbove and north of Pryiutne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops remain determined to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Over the past day, two attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions were made.

Russia launches 16 missile and 131 air strikes on Ukraine

Over the last day, 59 combat clashes took place.

In total, Russia launched 16 missile strikes, 131 air strikes,and fired 128 MLRS attacks at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas.

At night, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using Shahed UAVs and cruise missiles of various types. Data on this attack is being clarified.

Over the past day, 23 Ukrainian settlements were hit by Russian air strikes.

About 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under Russian artillery fire.

Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a concentration of Russian personnel and 4 control points

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 14 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Ukrainian missile units struck a concentration of Russian personnel, 4 control points, 4 air defense systems, 2 artillery units and an ammunition depot.

  • Over March 28, 48 combat clashes were registered at the frontline. Ukrainian defense forces repelled 11 attacks in the Bakhmut direction.
