The head of the Velykonovosilkivka village military administration, Serhiy Yashchenko, said this in a commentary to Suspilne.

"This is the last settlement in our community to be liberated from Russian occupation. The community is completely liberated," he emphasized.

Yashchenko said that the last evacuees were a family - a man, a woman and their adult son. They are currently in a safe place. They have been provided with psychological assistance and all the necessary supplies.

The head of the Velyka Novosilka military administration also said that a school, houses and a paramedic station were destroyed in Urozhaine, and that there was not a single building left standing in the village.

"It was a fairly large village. As of January 1, 2022, there were a thousand residents in the village. At the time of the occupation, about half a thousand people remained, and when active hostilities began, people left," Yashchenko said.

According to him, the settlement is located in the combat zone, so it is not yet possible to apply for compensation for damaged property: "The registers are closed. To apply for restoration, we need an examination. Access to the village is currently closed."

Reference: Urozhaine is a village of the Velyka Novosilka village community of the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region. The village is located on the right bank of the Mokri Yaly River. It has been occupied since March 2022.
