Over the past day, September 7, Russian forces lost 1,270 servicemen and dozens of pieces of military equipment at the frontline

Russia’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to September 8, 2024, are approximately:

  • personnel - about 625,260 (+1270)

  • tanks - 8,636 (+4)

  • armored fighting vehicles - 16,897 (+19) 

  • artillery systems - 17,804 (+30)

  • MLRS - 1,180 (+2)

  • air defense systems - 942 (+0) 

  • aircraft - 368 (+0)

  • helicopters - 328 (+0)

  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 14,864 (+80)

  • cruise missiles - 2,588 (+0)

  • war ships/boats - 28 (+0)

  • submarines - 1 (+0)

  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 24 218 (+47) 

  • special equipment - 3047 (+10)

Over the last day, 187 combat clashes took place in the frontline. Russian occupation forces were most active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
