Russia is deploying manpower toward Donetsk - advisor to Mariupol mayor
Petro Andriushchenko, advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, says that Russia is deploying trained manpower from the Mariupol and Berdyansk districts to the northern Donetsk region
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"We are observing the transportation of enemy manpower through Mariupol. We see that the occupying Russian troops are using new tactics. In particular, they have resumed the transfer of military forces in the direction of Donetsk, that is, to the north of Donetsk region. The Russians are moving 10-15 KAMAZ trucks with manpower at night to prevent any movement from being detected. They are trying to make maximum efforts towards Avdiivka and Bakhmut if the manpower that is being trained in the Mariupol and Berdyansk districts is transferred to the north of Donetsk region," noted Andriushchenko.
The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol added that he had received information that in Sartana, which is located north of Mariupol, all men had received call-up notices to the occupation military commissariat.
"Even those who do not have a Russian passport and have recently returned from the occupation have received summonses. That is, the Russians are preparing for mobilization in the Mariupol region," emphasized Andriushchenko.
- Major Maksym Morozov, an officer of the Legion of Freedom, noted that the Russian army is attacking Avdiivka from all sides and is actively working towards the industrial zone.
- Denys Nahornyi, chief of the artillery staff of the 4th Brigade, noted that despite heavy losses, Russia keeps storming Ukrainian positions.
