France condemns Russia's missile attacks on Ukraine as war crimes
The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned a new series of Russian missile strikes on Ukraine and recognized them as war crimes
The French Foreign Ministry's website published a statement.
"France strongly condemns the new series of Russian missile strikes that hit Ukraine and civilians and caused the death of a child in the west of the country," the statement said.
The French Foreign Ministry stated that these attacks were once again directed at civilian infrastructure, which is a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
"As Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna has repeatedly emphasized, these unacceptable actions constitute war crimes and cannot go unpunished," the ministry added.
It also emphasized that France's support for Ukrainian and international courts remains full to fight impunity for crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine.
