France announces approximate terms of AMX-10 RC tanks delivery to Ukraine
French Ministry of Armed Forces has confirmed support for Ukraine and expressed hope to deliver AMX-10 RC tanks in the next 2 months

Reuters reported on the situation.
"France is hoping to deliver ‘AMX 10-RC’ light combat tanks to Ukraine in two months’ time," the outlet quotes the statement of France’s Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu.
The statement is an abstract of a telephone conversation between Sébastien Lecornu and his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov on the eve of January 12.
France also reportedly reaffirmed its general support for Ukraine.
- On December 29, 2022, France’s Minister of the Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu, announced the creation of a new fund in France through which Ukraine can place orders for the French defense industrial complex.
- On January 4, France announced it would transfer AMX-10RC light battle tanks and ACMAT Bastion armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
- On January 5, Oleh Katkov, military expert, Defence Express editor-in-chief, noted that such targets as AFVs, APCs, long-range firing points do not pose any difficulties for the AMX-10 RC.
